fact that ICE vehicles is no longer sustainable in order to push the usage of
petroleum to its minumum level. You are able to convinced one of the biggest
automotive company to join in your cause, and at the end, you and the company
agreed to develop the fuel cell based vehicle because to some, transportation nirvana involves not
ICEs, but electric cars running on storage batteries or electricity generated
from on-board, hydrogen-powered fuel cells. If ICEs have a role in this utopia,
it is in the form of plug-in hybrids-electric cars with sizable on-board
battery storage and ICEs to either recharge the batteries or, when needed,
provide power directly to the wheels. What are your efforts to manisficate the solution ?
Analysis:
A fuel cell vehicle (FCV) or fuel
cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is a type of vehicle which uses a fuel cell to power its on-board electric motor. Fuel
cells in vehicles create electricity to power an electric motor,
generally using oxygen from the air and hydrogen. A fuel cell vehicle that is fueled with
hydrogen emits only water and heat, no pollutants, therefore it is considered a Zero Emission Vehicle.
Fuel cell-powered electric vehicles cannot, at present, compete on price
and attributes with ICE-powered vehicles. Battery-powered vehicles are much
closer to commercial production than fuel-cell vehicles, but as yet none of the
major manufacturers have committed to large-scale production.
But then, if we compare the fuel cell with ICEs to
the near future, if only we are able to shift our dependence of petroleum to
the fuel cell completely, we’re able to save up to 50 percent of our oil
reserve. This reserved is addresed to emergency use or to be use on other
sectors outside automotive. Fuel cell vehicle also had already been used for
several automotive such as tractors, busses, and many more.

Conclution:
Based on the engineering matrix decision,
the best way to manisficate the
solution into reality is by realizing the idea of shifting ICEs vehicle to fuell cell based vehicle. This solution will solve
the petroleum problem step by step and at the end, able to eleminate the use of
petroleum in automotive sector
